Action Strings contains more than 9 GB (uncompressed:> 14 GB) musical phrases of stringed instruments performed by FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague, digitized by Dynamedion.
The orchestra includes High Ensemble, which consists of 22 violins, 8 violas and 6 cellos, as well as Low Ensemble – 10 violas, 8 cellos and 6 double basses. Phrases range from basic rhythmic patterns to complex melodies, each recorded live in all ways, on two dynamic levels.
ACTION STRINGS allows mixing between dynamic levels using the modulation wheel, as well as simple fret switching (minor / major) speed level. More than 150 phrases organized in 5 themes, 5 custom slots are additionally available. All slots can be assigned or modified through a phrasal browser, with each phrase can be played in all ways. Phrases are selected using a switch and can be played in trigger mode or synchronized with the first fraction of the size at a tempo specified by the software. Using the algorithm KONTAKT Time Machine Pro, you can adjust the tempo in real time, which allows you to creatively use such performance nuances as, for example, Rallentando or Ritardando.
