SIERRA GROVE combines the emotional impact of classic soul music with aggressive drums, hook-laden melodies, and the most up-to-date production techniques. Dripping with attitude thanks to classic sampling techniques, it boasts saturated drums, funky electric keys, and a trove of guitar, bass, and synth samples. And special kits including sound effects and talkbox vocals ensure you’re well-equipped for the deep-pocket, groove-drenched sound of today’s most soulful artists.
SIERRA GROVE was created in collaboration with MSXII.
A DEEP SAMPLE LIBRARY
SIERRA GROVE channels the modern grooves and infectious melodies of contemporary soul music. It features vintage synths, acoustic drums, horns, vibraphones and more. Analog instruments like the Sequential Circuits Prophet ’08, Moog Taurus, Moog Minitaur, Oberheim OBXa, ARP 2600, Theremin, Korg PS-3200, Prophet VS, and Fender Rhodes make an appearance. And FX were handled by outside pedals – namely Moog delays, special filters, Electro Harmonix pitch shifters, JHS, Earthquake devices, and more.
