As we rolled into the new millenium, R&B experienced a major shift, spearheaded by artists like Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, J Dilla and the wider Soulquarians collective. Sessions at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village saw them dusting off the vintage synths and kits of the two previous decades, and pairing analog warmth and organic live sessions with modern sampling and production techniques. AQUARIUS EARTH takes up the palette of earthy tones, funk groove, hip-hop percussion and infectious melody that brought the soul back to the 90s and beyond.

Build a solid foundation for your tracks with original recordings of live bass and drums using classic outboard gear, available as samples to use in any DAW, and as sample instruments in MASCHINE. Incorporate warm analog lines and stabs with sampled vintage keys like the Mellotron, as well as synths like the Moog Sub Phatty, Moog 32, and Juno 106. Custom presets for MONARK let you tweak your own soulful synth styles for productions that take any direction.
